Scripting News
Scripting News is the corporate entity of blogger, software developer, and occasional angel investor Dave Winer. Winer founded Userland Software in 1988, an early developer of content management systems and blogging software for the Macintosh platform and later the Web. He sold blog notification service Weblogs.com to VeriSign in 2005 for a reported $2.1 million. His ongoing interests include outlining software and the democratization of the Internet.
